Abyss is a digital platform dedicated to showcasing Asian horror cinema. Conceived as my thesis project at the School of Visual Arts, it blends digital content, physical publications, and immersive events to enrich global understanding and appreciation of Asian horror. Abyss explores cultural depths and historical nuances often overlooked in mainstream media.
The platform consists of a dynamic web hub for content discovery, collectible zines for thematic explorations, and curated events like film screenings and discussions. Each element aims to entertain, educate, and engage audiences, bridging the gap between Eastern horror traditions and a global audience. This initiative enhances cultural dialogue around Asian horror worldwide.
