As an Art Director for the Seoul-based DJ collective 808%, the visual identity for live performances was built around rhythm, movement, and cultural hybridity. Promotional posters and motion graphics fused traditional Korean drawing concepts with pattern-driven compositions, translating these forms into visuals shaped by the pulse of DJ music.
Hand-drawn illustrations were layered with rhythmic motifs, then reinterpreted through motion to echo tempo, repetition, and sonic energy. The resulting animations transformed heritage-inspired imagery into dynamic promotional pieces, helping the collective stand apart while connecting sound, culture, and movement into a cohesive visual language.
